HP Notebook PCs - Resolving Issues in Outlook Express
This document explains how to troubleshoot diverse issues that can occur when working with Microsoft's Outlook Limited (OE) email software. Notice the section that best matches your issue from the choices below. Since Microsoft is the author of OE, virtually of the sections beneath link to back up content provided by Microsoft.

Outlook Express does not open after upgrading to Windows XP
If OE does not open subsequently upgrading Windows to XP, or if you cannot open another session with another identity, follow the instructions in the following Microsoft support article to download and install a cumulative fix that addresses this effect: Microsoft Support Article 331923 (in English).
